Windows 2000 Error

Hi Guys

I have just upgrade my Win 98 pc to windows 2000 because I purchase a new ATI video card that does support win98. I loaded my adaptec burning software then reboot my PC .But the PC kept restarting for about 6 times then become stable .This beaviour is strange to me .

Why would the OS keep restarting it self for no reason, is this a BIOS problem or is it my burning software<

Any help or suggestion would be much appriciated

I'll take a guess and say you tried to load Adaptec/Roxio EZCD 4...
If so, you'll have to remove it in safe mode, and get different burning software.
