i tried using partition magic 8 and it doens't work . i have nt and 2000 server installed in their own partitions. i have a third partition and i want to allocate that space to my server partition.
how can i do that without the use of partition magic 8?

or if not. i'd like to delete the nt partition and have my 2k server to be my primary partition
I don't use PM8 but I do use PM7 quite frequently and it will easy do what I think you are trying to do. You don't have a demo version by chance do you? I'm not sure about the new ones but the old ones would show you how the program worked but it wouldn't actually do anything.
If you want to move partitions on an existing drive and you don't want to format and start over you will have to use some third party software as Windows (any version) is not capable of it. For my money PM is as good as it gets but there are other options.
