Heard this on Paul Harvey this AM. You all remember the weekly reader when you were in school right? Well, they've been doing a survey every election year since the mid 1950's to see who their readership thinks will win the election -- and since then, they've NEVER been wrong. Well, their readers voiced their opinions yet again this year and in an almost 2-1 magin have picked G. W. Bush as the next President of the United States. Remember, they've never been wrong. I'd hate to see that streak end.
"Starting in 1956, a Weekly Reader poll had accurately predicted the winner of each presidential election until hitting a bump four years ago, when students picked George Bush over Bill Clinton."

Bob,
I bet that you hope they just started a new streak, right? :D
Sure do. New news just in about Bush may just ensure it.

English newspapers have reported that a survey carried out in the USA last week showed that 25% of young Americans could not name the two Presidential candidates.
stuart: I heard that it was only 30% *could* name them.
