New video cards marks

I have a Sapphire 8500 LE that I put in a

Athlon 2000+
Asus A7N8X deluxe
512 (pc2700)

and got 8,116 3D marks the first time out.

I guess looking thru some other posts that is pretty good.

But I notice at times on some things the color just doesn't look right (maybe washed out a little). I just received a Driver CD with it.

Just wonder if there is something in BIOS or ?? that I need to do to tweak it a little.

I think my CPU temp was up around 125F when 3D was going on.

Get the latest drivers for it,look in display properties-settings -advanced and see if you can't adjust color there.
If you get the latest drivers,it's advised to uninstall the older drivers and then reinstall.
What is your OS?

I am running

Win XP Pro.



I downloaded what I thought was new drivers for the thing (hard to locate) and forgot to remove old ones.


I am thinking the color on this should be a lot better.
