ATI tv wonder, purple thingy, and DScaler

ALLrighty, I recently got my ati tv-wonder, and then got the purple hook up dealie from PardeGT. What my question is has to do with DScaler, which is what I use to watch T.V. with. What do i do to get the video/audio input from the Purple composite s-video cable?? I can actually get the Video, but no audio! the only audio i can get is still from the t.v. station i was on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Dscaler won't be able to use the audio processor on the ATI card in all likelihood, you'll have to run the sound to your sound card if you wanna use Dscaler.

And unless you have a sound card with multi-channel inputs, you might be better off with the ATI software for obvious reasons.

I bought the card refurb, so does the software cost anything? Can it be downloaded from the website?

Yeah, just download the full multimedia center software from ATI's site. AFAIK the only thing you have to have the original CD for is the DVD player.
