Dual Monitor Interference

I'm having interference between my two monitors, does anyone know of any material that I can (easily) put between them to eliminate that. Am I correct in my thinking that any meterial that's magnetic can stop the crosstalk?

Can you describe what's occurring?

You may want to try just plugging one of the monitors into a seperate outlet from the one the other monitor's plugged into. ;)

If the interference is a dark band that moves up one monitor and down the other, change the refresh rate on one monitor. When mine were both at the same refresh rate I always got the interference so I set one to 75 and one to 85.

Is it still happeneing since you changed the refresh rate?

the interference is multiple dark flashing fuzzy lines that move slowly down only on the right half of the monitor (the side next to the other monitor).
I am unable to plug the monitors into different outlets.
When they are both at 60 hz it is fine but my main monitor doesn't look very good for some reason at 1280x1024x60 I like to use it at 75 hz but my older monitor can't operate at that rate and resolution, I don't like to have in set to a different resolution than my main either. :)
oh, and my older monitor doesn't have the interference.

Do you have any heavy duty electrial appliances running? Generators?

How old is the wiring in your home?

Do you still still have the same problem at a smaller resolution?

What are your system specs?

oh, both are plugged into a ups, one on the battery and the other just surge protected

thay sympton is normally caused by a diode in the power supply emitting rf interferance, the only way to correct it is to replace the doide,
