Unwanted programs on the slave.

Hello,
I slaved a 2.1 g hdd to another of similar size, installed win98se on the master(seagate) and just partitioned and formatted the slave(wd). I expected to "see" nothing on the slave and the various os related programs on the master, but there were some dupes(my documents, programs, etc) on the slave. So I reformatted the slave(again) and there are still programs on it.
With only 4 .2 gigs total space, I am trying to leave as much storage space available as possible, what am I not doing, or doing wrong.

windows will put thoes folders on all drives in a system, don't delete them as windows will put them back,
they are very small files, basicly just icons and a folder.
just don't put anything in them and they will not take up any space ( my documents )

the trash ben must be there so you can delete any files you do put on that drive

it is not really a problem as far as space is concerned

I guess I'll quit deleting them repeatedly now :)

You can get rid of the recycle bin and the other drives if you want. Justbe careful what you delete. You'll have to set it to use zero space first or it will come back.

I'm not sure what you mean by delete other drives and set what to use zero space??

I think he ment to say ( on the other drives )
you can remove them on the other drives the same way.

you can set how much space the recycle bin uses, setting it to zero will make it disappear.

Now I see it, I never looked at the recycle that closely...
