I have the MSI Geforce Ti4200 card installed in my computer. For some reason, I don't think it's installing correctly. There are extra options that appear in the display properties menu that are suppose to enable me to change the display using the cards features, but every time I click on one of the tabs (for those of you with this card, the tabs are "MSI information" and "MSI clock "), I get an error stating "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." Does anyone know what's wrong, and how to fix it? I've tried taking out the card and reinstalling it with no luck. I run Windows XP, but the card is supposed to be compatible with it.

Computer Specs:

Windows XP professional
P4 2.53 Ghz.
256 MB RAM

Did you have a videocard installed prior to this new one? If so, you must make sure you get rid of all the old drivers and anything else pertaining to that old video card otherwise you'll have problems.

This is a brand new computer (built it myself). No other video card has ever been in it.

Do you know if the prog is compatible with XP? IT amy be possible that it's not.

To get around it try going: right click on desktop > click properties > "Settings" tab > "Advanced button" > click on the tab that names your video card.

I'm doing this from memory, since I'm on my 98SE O/S on my multiboot system. I'm not 100% that it'll be in the place I directed, but it should be around there somewhere. ;)
