Hi,
I've seen a lot of people here saying Kingston RAM is good, especially if you are not overclocking. I was going to purchase some from mwave but it says Value Ram. Is that same RAM everyone is referring to?
TIA

I think so, it is what I use most of the time

Thanks for the quick replys bailey and Redo40. I'm getting it then, it's about $30 cheaper than crucial for 512K.

Value Ram is what I usually order from mwave. According to Kingston, every module is 100% tested prior to shipment. I've never had a problem with Kingston. I consider Crucial and Kingston to be about the same.

Thanks LawyerRon, that makes me feel better, it's at a really good price now for the PC2700.
This thread made me take another look at RAM. I'm considering the Crucial 512 PC2700 so I compared it to the Kingston. From newegg I see these:
KINGSTON KVR333X64C25/512 512MB 32x64 PC2700 DDR RAM
CRUCIAL MICRON 512MB 64x64 PC 2700 DDR RAM - OEM
About $16 difference. I notice the Kingston is 32X64 and the Crucial 64X64. What does this mean and is it significant?
Thanks.

The kingston value ram also has a lifetime guarentee which is good. I built my grandmother's computer with it and it's been working great.

I believe it means the 64x64 has 8 chips and the 32x64 has 4 on the module. I think I was told the fewer the chips on the module the better, but maybe someone who has a better handle on this could answer the question.
