Reset desktop background color

To reset the desktop background color, set the value in registry:
In XP it is HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Colors

But in windows98, I can't find the item "Color" under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\,

How about the Windows2000, Win NT, Windows ME and Win98?

Try the easy way.

R click on the desktop and select Properties.

Click on Appearance, and choose the colour of your choice.

Remember to Click apply.


Works for all Win O/S 's
