I've recently downgraded to my old motherboard after accidentally frying my newer one. I've gotten everything almost set except for the jumpers, and can't seem to find schematics or anything for it.

It is an Asus CUV4x version 1.03 with a VIA chipset.

It seems no matter where I put the power switch cable, nothing seems to happen. Please help.

Hi and welcome to the PC Mech forums! :)

Have you searched for the PDF version of the manual in the ASUS web site?

I found this page.

Is this your mobo?

That's my board alright.
Downloaded the manual, but it's telling my to hook up my power button (the one in the front) to a plug that's not there. The manual says its in the upper left corner, but that's where the mouse and keyboard plug into.

Generally, the pins are on the lower right corner. (The upper left corner if you flip your mobo around).

Looks like there's only 2 spots in can go into...one is the Wake On Ring pins and the other is the JTpower pins next to the jumper that says chassis.

It will take over 20 min or so since I'm on dial-up. I'll go to have my supper in the meanwhile and will post back as soon as it's downloaded. :)

Back. :)

You see, just above the COM2 connector in the mobo, in the lower right corner, there is a panel of several pins. That is where you need to connect the Power LED, Pwr button, Reset button, etc.

It's on the page 14 of the manual.

And the connector guide is on page 39.

I tend to get a little confused when it comes to this kind of thing.

Is your video card properly seated?

Check this list of beep codes.

odd, now I"m getting no beeps.

btw...I forgot to add the power led on my monitor is blinking, so I know it's at least getting power.

I don't believe the video card is bad, the only components that are different are my mobo and cpu
