The viseo card i want to get says it supports 8x agp, but the motherboard I want says 4x agp. What does that mean?

Hi ammo,

Just what it sounds like, the card is faster than than the motherboard supports. Don't worry though, it's backwards compatable so it'll work on the motherboard. Hope that helps.

its a radeon 9500, so it will work with an intel 845pe mobo even though the video is 8x and the motherboard is 4x?

As far as I know, yes.

I just looked at the detailed specs of the card and it says it supports up to 8x but it will work also with 4x and 2x. So its all good.
