Don't you mean Norton System Crash?
A horrible piece of bloatware. There's only 1 good thing in the whole package worth a dime, and that's Ghost. The rest of it is a waste of money.
I used it breifly on a win98 machine and it seemed to bloat it down although it had the max memory and alot of free resources. I have been thinking of trying it again, glad you posted this it could help me make up my mind.

I have found that system works creates more problems than it clamims to fix, the worst one I have ever tried was Macaffee office 2000, if anyone wants it, you can have it for free, it crashed every system I tried it on beyond repaire, forced to format.
norton is good foe virus checking, and ghost, but that is about it

I didn't use NSW just the AV program (2002) I think; I finally got rid of it as it was way too slow, plus the Live Update was dead most of the time.

The only reason I would consider buying is for AV and Ghost. Even then I would be leary that it would install something I didn't want. Main reason I bought AV and Ghost seperately.

If I can get an OEM copy cheaper than Norton AV then I buy it, but only install the anti-virus.
I agree NAV and Ghost are both good products. The rest of the programs are junk are likely to make your computer less stable.

I've been using it for years. Just this morning I dumped 2002 and installed 2003. I don't have all the "startup" programs start up, but I do use the utilities a tlot, esceptially the defragger and registry checker.
I figure that 2002 was, at OEM prices, that same as just renewing the AV subscription. 2003 was $5 more than renewal prices. So for that puny price, I get the new and full version of NAV as well as the rest of the goodies. Heck, just the retail version of Ghost goes for what, $65 - 70??
