I just installed Office XP Professional with a Full version of Frontpage 2002 on XP home edition. I really like the new features that are supported.
I have Win2k on a separate hdd and am dual booting with XP. I have Office 97 Professional edition on that OS and it gives me a message everytime I try to open an existing document that that document is currently open?????? What's up with that? Should I uninstall Office 97 on that OS and install Office XP? If I do will activation be possible? Am I pushing the limits of my liscensing agreement?

I tink I would call M$ and ask them. I suspect that they would allow you to do it. Although technically I don't think you are allowed to it. You are allowed to install Office on one Desktop and on one Notebook. Since you obviously can't have both OS's running at once I don't think it would be a problem.

I do think the Product Activation will have a problem with it though. So I would just call first. They are very easy to deal with.

FYI, M$oft had no problem with and assured me there would be no issues with activating on both OS's

That's cool. They are pretty decent to deal with.
