View Full Version : question on ATI cards..
Hi,
I would like to know what's the difference between
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9500 PRO 128MB AGP DVI W/ TV OUT OEM
or ATI RADEON 9500 PRO 128MB AGP DVI W/ TV OUT
I know one is oem and the other is not, but is the ATI running better than the SAPPHIRE ?? clocked higher ? Thanks

You probably would have a little bit slower speed. Sapphire makes excellant quality cards and from what I have seen they are also the best of the ATI OEM manufactures.

I believe since the Radeon 9000 series was launched ATi told Sapphire to get it together, which mean it should have equal specs compared to a BBA card.
So my best choice would be the sapphire radeon 9500 than a GF4 Ti4200 right?

Depends on who makes the Gforce. IMHO, NVidia does not hold the companies that by their chips to the same standards as ATI does.
let's say the radeon 9500 pro from sapphire or the asus gf4 ti2000 (128mb each)

You go for the Radeon even if it's made by Saphire, the GF4s don't support DX9.
I have heard that Saphire does manufacture lots of the "made by ATi" cards.

Did you buy it OEM or retail?
