dungeon siege is a pretty big game in terms of graphics, your computer will run it but w/ only 128MB of RAM and an MX vid card you are runnin at the very bottom of the pile. of course all this means is you will have to set detail levels to the very lowest that they go and you might have a slideshow at times. the duron doesn't help but it is a solid processor. you might wanna think about upgrading soon. but anywho, that has nothing to do with your game crashing, even if you are just "skipping" along something else must be wrong for your game to be crashing. make sure you have updated drivers for eveything!

I suspect this has to do with heat.

What temps are you getting?

Also download DocMem and check your RAM. www.docmemory.com

I got it runnin on my old p3 system and it's okay.(see my sys spec)
I recall playing Ghost recon and it suffer the same prob....After done installing new nvidia drivers would solve the prob.
So I suggest getting latest drivers......

Yup. Then it's most prolly related to drivers or overheating of the video card itself.

The video card is probably cooking.
In the game options, select the Video tab, and turn off any shadows. Set the resolution down a notch to 800x600@16bit.
See if that helps.
I know the GF2 can barely keep up at those settings. Anything higher will require a better card.
If you even had a GF4, you could run full shadows and 1024x768@32bit.
I kept crashing out as well, until I discovered the GPU fan had seized ;)
The game update is definitely worth the download. It does some load balancing between gameplay and video output. Might help, can't hurt.
