any one ever expermint with a dual boot, dual drive system. i haven't masterd a bual boot, single, partitioned hard drive yet. but in my thought's it would be easer to have 2 hard drives with 2 o/s's. and figure out how to get the puter to dual boot between the 2 hard drive's, any comment's out here. c-ya sling

It pretty much works the same either way. All that you have to do is install the 2nd O/S to the second partition/drive.

I've heard it can be done with Linux, but I'm not familiar with the procedure at all.
I wonder who here has actually done a Windows/Linux dual boot...

Yes it can dual boot no problem.
I did that with Mandy 9.0 and it went fine. Just install Windows 98 first. Then Mandy, it will take care of the details.
During Mandy's installation you can select to run LILO from your HD or from a floppy disk. If you select the HD option everytime you turn on the PC you will receive a start menu. If you select the floppy option you will only get that menu if the floppy is in the drive; if it's not the machine will boot to Windows as if Linux was not installed.
It's easy.

Two drives is easier than 2 partitions.
If installed right, you can select the BIOS to choose boot drive, you can install a 3rd party boot manager, or do what Nuc has suggested.
