Firewall Mess 2 going at once?! ahhh

ok, heres the problem. I had sygate professional firewall for a while until my trial ran out. I thought I had uninstalled it. So when i downloaded Outpost, a dialog box came up saying that there were 2 firewall programs running. But heres my problem. Everytime I try to uninstall one or ANY program for that matter my computer restarts. So I dont know how to get ride of Sygate as of now. And whenever I try to install anything my computer restarts. What can I do to get rid of one of these firewalls? thanks a lot... this is a big mess I have

If you are running ME or XP, try a system restore.

Yes im running XP, how would I go about doing a system restore? (excuse my ignorance)

I honestly am just completely frustrated with my computer. I KNOW i screwed it up .. but now i cant play ANY games everytime I try it jsut reboots my machine... I can install or uninstall anything itll reboot my machine I cant do much of anything its frustrating me

Try opening the Help system and look for System Restore.........

Restore it back to a date before you screwed it up.
