...is the version information?

I been looking hard for the Build Number and can't find it.

I remember my RC1 copy had it on the bottom right. And while browsing the Post your Desktop thread I also noticed that info in some desktops but mine doesn't have it.

Open a command prompt it should have the build # or version there

At the command prompt type systeminfo

also at the command prompt type winver

You can add it to the desktop if you want to. Most of the tweaking programs have a way to do it.

Striking the Winkey+ Pause/Break key will give the sytem properties box, it's listed on the front.

If it's a retail version the build will be 2600. If you have installed SP1 it will be Build 2600.xpsp1.

Yes, its 2600.
