I have a friend that has the same router and it is a Linksys BEFSR41 and when going to www.grc.com[/url] it shows port 113 closed and when I go to mine it shows stealth on all ports. My question is is this just a router setting or the firmware he is running thanks for any help in this issue, Gary

Port 113 is the ident port for IRC. He probably has an IRC client running.

Yes I think they have Yahoo Instant Messanger and Icq both on the machine , guess it is one or the other, thanks Gary

Those are IM clients, not IRC........
