need a mouse and keyboard for gaming

i'm in the market for a new mouse and keyboard. i would like them both to be wireless but not too expensive. i also would like a good mouse for gaming. thanks

Take a look at the Logitech models.

M$'s are better IMO but they are anything but cheap.

The Logitech Internet Keyboard is really good, aswell as the Logitech Optical mouse. I use them both for gaming, and they rock. The keyboard is nice for typing, because you can type smooth and it isn't very loud at all when you type. You also have cool options like a scroll wheel, Volume Up/Down, Stop, Play, FF, Reverse, E-mail, Browser Back/Front, etc.

yea, i would go with logitech, but i would suggest corded unless you have a huge screen to look at it with.

Yea I Also Would Suggest A Corded Mouse For Gaming, I Have a Wireless Logitech Mouse And I Find It To Be Just A Millisecond Out Of Sync With My Movements In A FPS...So I Went Out and Bought A Microsoft Multimedia KB & a Optical Mouse "Blue" (With The Wire) ...They Seem To Be Working Great...Mind You The Buttons On The Mouse Are A Bit To Get Used To...

Logitech MX500, best mouse for gaming out there in my opinion right now, accept for the Razor Boomslang which is a balled mouse and costs over $100.

i would suggest 2 things
one of them is the LOGITECH dual optical mouse and keyboard. if im not mistaken they come wireless or wired.but i suggest you get the wireless one

if you really have a lot of money and are willing to part with it...get the microsoft blue-tooth enabled mouse and keyboard(really expensive with a paint job that can rival the automobile industry).one downside is if you play around with your bios alot and other stuff before windows starts,this is not the mouse for you(it wont work).

but the logitech dual optical mouse seems to be the best gaming mouse so far.

I would recommend you get a corded mouse as my uncle has a cordless mouse and they aren't 100% accurate at current technology and when the batteries run out in a fragging frenzie it is very annoying ;) but go for optical obviously

I saw an article on how Microsoft was going to sell a bluetooth motherboard and mouse combination. Logitech makes an optical mouse that is suppose to be twice as responsive as normal. You might want to check out an actual game controller.

Anyone here considered buying a trackball?? I know it sounds weird, but they're outstanding for gaming once you get used to them, I really do recommend them. I like them so much I've been using them for about 3 years now... trackballs for the index fingers are the go, not the thumb ones, I don't rate those at all

They aren't quite as confortable as regular mice though. Trackballs are mostly used by graphics professionals. I don't know about gaming, it sounds pretty hard to hit all your controls when you're occupied with the ball. I reccomend the Logitech MX500. Mine just came today and it doesn't skip or anything like my old IntelliMouse.

Cant go wrong with logitech, I'm using the wireless keyboard and a wired optical mouse. not the fancy mx500 though, but works excellent. dont do the wireless mouse as it lags a bit for gaming.

I don't know about wireless, but Microsoft Internet Keyboard and optical wheel mouse are great for me!
