what should the temp be in the psu....300W,Linkworld and nothing special connected to computer.i would like to rebuild my psu and my new Zalman fan runs with diffrent speed. it cant "move" so much air that the old one could and this can be a problem. i need to know the temp on the electrode radiator and the temp in the "air", inside the psu.

You don't say what kind of CPU. But if it is AMD, then the XP is good to 90C per AMD site. Personally I would get very concerned if one was getting over 70-75C.
I try to keep mine under 50C at idle. Low 40's, high 30's would be preferable.
This is reading from BIOS during boot.

I think the poster is asking about PSU temps, not CPU temps - and I have no idea.

I do believe you are right. I need to read a little closer. That's twice in last month that you have caught me.
If late 50's is this bad, I shudder what 60's will bring.
