I know its a bit messy in there, but I have a 480 watt PSU with LOTS of cables. Also, check out this login screen...

Looks very cool!

Is that HSF noisy?

Where did you get that login screen?

Thanks NK,

The HSF produces NO NOISE! Surprised me! Get the login screen at ezskins.com.

Ya know, I'd have to check that out. I know I paid like 75 bucks for it at this little place in the East Bay. My philosophy is that I should invest the most in the MoBo and the CPU/ Heatsink (for insurance purposes). I'll tell you as soon as I find the box :)

I was checking out these instructions (http://www.ezskins.com/product.phtml?xpLoginScreens) about changing the logon screen. Why do I have to go into Safe Mode? When they say "Copy the new logonui.exe file to the original directory (Of course you have backed up the original logonui.exe file right?). " What *exactly* do they mean? do I have to change delete the original and replace it with the file I just dled? and do must I rename the new file to logoniu too? This is a little different from that Start menu trick I just did:D

avx, you have to boot into safemode in order to alter the boot applications because otherwise
you would have pased the boot instructions that read the log in screen in the first place. In other
words, you would be going around in cirlces. YOu must boot into safe mode (which passes the initial
boot phase) and then just export the standard files and import the new one (s). Then when you boot
into standard mode, the boot phase will read your new file, not skip it. If you were to change the s
creen before restarting, you would get an error because removing any apps from the explorer etc. can
be very bad news.

Is that a purple light on the bottom??

It looks like it. There are wires going into the end.

That's pretty cool looking, does it serve a purpose aside from aesthetically?

It just looks cool and can be impressive to friends who may see it. Other than that, it doesn't serve much of a purpose. :p

thats a black light actually. It causes cancer of the skin. But hey, I found a very practical use for it. The dust particles that entire my case are shown boldly (they glow) due to the UV light rays. This makes it very easy to clean in there without vacuuming.

Also, I did it so that the light would "pour" out of the bolt holes, creases and what not on my case. In the dark, it looks like a purple diamond...
