I tried installing a Nascar Pro Digital 2 steering on two different machines and it recognizes it as an unknown devise on both of them. One machine is Winxp, the other is Win98.This wheel dosen't need a driver installed because windows already has them.Thrustmaster website is no help.On the Win98 machine I had this wheel installed once before and it worked properly.I also have a Thrustmaster Top Gun joystick on this machine and it works fine.Does anyone know of a patch for this?Should I search the windows disc for the proper driver? Thanks

If it's showing up as an unknown device the drivers probably aren't installed. Try running the Add Hardware wizard.

Do you by chance have a microsoft branded KB & Mouse and installed the software that came with them? I ran accross an issue where the MS software conflicts with a gaming device that used the standard HID drivers. If you do have the MS keyboard sortware installed, try un-installing it, re-install the wheel, and then re-install the KB software.

I tried the new hardware wizard with no luck.It just loads a driver for an unknown devise.I have a Microsoft KB on one of them but I didn't install any software with it.It has a Logitech optical mouse.Seems strange this problem would happen on two machines.
