...print certain documents on colored paper? It pertains to work. The HP printers have double trays. The bottom one held the legal sized yellow paper. But the office is undergoing some changes and we will no longer be using legal size. Instead, regular 8.5x11 will be used. IT department says they cannot get the printers to print the certain documents on yellow paper.

Like i said, before, we used legal size so the computer knew it had to use the 2nd tray, which is where the legal yellow size paper is located.

My question is, is there any way to set it up so that it prints these certain documents to the second tray and all other docs to the first tray?

The program that is used is a program based on macros in Excel used to process Loans. I hope I explained well enough. Thanks in advance.

P.S. And just in case someone says, "what's the big deal about using yellow?" well, working these files with these specific docs in white and letter size is causing havoc. everyone is used to the yellow legal size. and, these changes are coming from headquarters.

If you are using an HP laserjet, then there should be a switch on on of the sides with the numbers 1 and 2, each for a position of the switch. I believe that if you switch it to "2", it will pull paper from tray 2.
