If the judge rules in favor of the Fla. Sec. of State, look for the dems to file a "Contest of Election".
If the judge rules in favor of the Dems, look for Repubs to file a "Contest of Election"
102.168 Contest of election (http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes)
Will either of the parties do it?
who gets there first ?
can either win a "contest of election" ?
any thoughts ? or other theories on end game ?

Bob,
both sides could argue that this section has been met in their favor :)
i guess what i am askin is: after all is said and done, the smoke clears, all litigation is over. The state certifies the vote, will anybody file a "Contest of Election" ( as one last shot )?
Clydefo is taking bets that Gore will and he will win

Sec. 102.168 Contest Of Election
pay particlular attention to # 2).
2) Such contestant shall file a complaint, together with the fees prescribed in chapter 28, with the clerk of the circuit court within 10 days after midnight of the date the last county canvassing board empowered to canvass the returns certifies the results of the election being contested or within 5 days after midnight of the date the last county canvassing board empowered to canvass the returns certifies the results of that particular election following a protest pursuant to s. 102.166(1), whichever occurs later.
this sure reads that the gore folks may have had a legit beef re: the recounts not subject to the drop-dead dates.
Then again, it could just read that regardless, the drop-dead deadlines apply.
The Gore team might also get a different circuit court judge. Too wacky.
If Gore succeeds to the the election results reversed under this statute. Would Bush file under the same statute to over turn a Gore win ?
this gets sadder & sadder.
Now I want a piece of clydefo's side of the action :)
