I've already tried F5, F8, CTRL C, BREAK buttons but non of those worked.

This is a very old machine controlling industrial mold press.

Any ideas?

This is pure dos ? I'm assuming you tried control-break.
Do you want to bypass it permanently ?
Maybe just rename it to something other than autoexec.bat.

It sounds to me like he is trying to enter the BIOS.

When you turn on your computer, press "Pause Break" key on your keyboard, and you will get information on what key you need to press. Once you find the key to press, you will enter a menu, to where you will be able to boot up normally, safe mode, last known configuration, bypass configuration files. You will want to pick bypass configuration files.

If this is an old version of DOS (5.0 or older), you need to hit Ctrl+C to break it to a clean C prompt. The F-keys weren't added till 6.0.

Edit - I see you already tried that - you need to start hammering right away. It's possible that it's been disabled in config.sys, in that case you will need a boot floppy.
