Got this in my email today. Enjoy

Subject: Peace Activist Etiquette

With impending war, many of us will encounter "Peace Activists" who will try to convince us that we must refrain from retaliating against the ones who terrorized us all on September 11, 2001.

These activists may be alone or in a gathering.....most of us don't know how to react to them. When you come upon one of these people, or one of their rallies, here are the proper rules of etiquette

1. Listen politely while this person explains their views. Strike up a conversation if necessary and look very interested in their ideas. They will tell you how revenge is immoral, and that by attacking the people who did this to us, we will only bring on more violence. They probably use many arguments, ranging from political to religious to humanitarian.

2. In the middle of their remarks, without any warning, punch them in the nose.

3. When the person gets up off of the ground, they will be very angry and they may try to hit you, so be careful.

4. Very quickly and calmly remind the person that violence only brings about more violence and remind them of their stand on this matter. Tell them if they are really committed to a nonviolent approach to undeserved attacks, they will turn the other cheek and negotiate a solution. Tell them they must lead by example if they really believe what they are saying.

5. Most of them will think for a moment and then agree that you are correct.

6. As soon as they do that, hit them again. Only this time hit them much harder. Square in the nose.

7. Repeat these steps until the desired results are obtained and the idiot realizes how stupid an argument he/she is making.

There is no difference in an individual attacking an unsuspecting victim, a group of terrorists attacking a nation of people or standing by while a tyrant massacres his own people by gassing them to test his biological warfare. It is unacceptable and must be dealt with. Perhaps at a high cost. We owe our military a huge debt for what they are about to do for us and our children.

We must support them and our leaders at times like these. We have no choice. We either strike back, VERY HARD, or we will keep getting hit in the nose.

Lesson over.

Ive always wondered...when people make that argument about supporting the troops, but not supporting President Bush, why do they take that position? Do you feel Bush is doing a bad job? Or do they feel its because hes doing it for the wrong reasons? Using September 11th as a front for other motives, in which case I would wonder why they would think that is a bad thing, I actually think its very efficient of him...Rid the world of a psychodic dictator, destroy terrorism, free people from a psychodic dictator, bring a civilized goverment to a 3rd world country, place 8 trillion dollars worth of oil under mostly US goverment control, or atleast place someone in control of it who will have good relation with the US, get some revenge for 9/11 which in no way is that immoral.. that is justice and restitution(IMHO), and get even with the guy that tried to kill your father. I admot the last one is'nt a great example, but its an honest one, and as far as Im concerned I feel the president has done nothing to earn the negative rep he is getting...I feel he is doing a great job considering the situation he is in. I personally voted for Gore, and thought we would really regreat another Bush presidency, but I feel he is doing an outstanding job.

Just my opinion folks...

But if you happen to be one of those people that supports the troops but not Bush, could you please explain to me why...cause Ive always kind of wondered.

avx487 do you Remember back in the 90's when Clinton bombed the Serbs? At that time Trent Lott said He supports the troops but not the President...So you see what I mean now?<p> Are you saying that attacking Iraq as we did is revenge for 9-11? What did Iraq have to do with that? And the assumption that ridding the world of one person (Saddam) Will make the world safer is a pipe dream IMO..

You must not have seen that video of the Iraqi people dancing in the streets saying "Down with the US" and burning mock US flags right after they heard about 9/11??

And whats this about us attacking the Iraqi people anyway?????? Last I checked we were at war with Sadaam and his army, the only interaction with the Iraqi people that I have seen are the troops bringing them fresh water, and giving them jobs to help unload all of the supplies we are sending over to help them, and show them that we are there as friends and not as some evil iron brigade only here to take out its target and leave...

We even set up those huge refugee camps on the Iraqi borders so when they wanted to leave to get out of harms, they had somewhere to go. True there have been some accidental incidents where innocent Iraqi people were killed or injured, they were accidents, not direct attacks. The Iraqi people are putting themselves in harms way by staying in the middle of a warzone that their leader is producing...He is having his men fall back into the towns to create an urban war zone, where soldiers can use innocent civilians as meat shields.

Have you looked on CNN recently, they are showing more and more video of Iraqi's welcomming the soldiers, and trying to make more Iraqis join the US army in bringing down Sadaam.

Im still wondering where the President is doing a bad job here????
