Hi,

I recently got a problem with my printer. The only thing I can do I press the button on the printer to get a test page. else, the printer does NOTHING. I can't print documents (it tries and it seems like the printer is not getting the info) and I can't even get a page down with the button. the only thing is the test page through the printer and not the computer. maybe my printer cable is broken? any help would be appreciated !!

Try a different cable.

glc is right; the first thing you want to do is eliminate the possibility of a bad printer cable, then other things can be tried. Also, make sure the printer cable is correctly installed and has not slipped out.

ok I thought using the USB cable that came with my cable modem to connect my printer and from now it works !!! w00t Thanks guys
