modem drivers in XP

I have a conexant V.90 56K modem with this chipset number: "RS56-PCI R6793-15" for windows 2000 and XP Pro.

Have you tried to use the default modem drivers provided by windows xp? If not you can try to find them at www.driverguide.com

I just had a thought...
Does there need to be something entered for the "domain" (where you type in the user name and pop.***** account)?

Do a search on www.driverguide.com for "R6793-15" and there's 4 matches.
