I am working on setting up a user reviews system which will completely take over for this forum.
http://www.pcmech.com/reviews/
Your registrations here in the forum will allow you to participate there.
I invite everyone to begin using the system. I am still working on ironing out some issues, but this will completely take over for this forum soon and I will be closing this hardware review forum soon.

The site looks cool. But the popup is annoying.

You must never leave this forum. The entire website except the forum has an on-going pop-under campaign, limited to a 24-hour cap so as not to be annoying to anyone.

Well, I managed to avoid the pop-ups by using Mozilla. ;)

Great site, no problem w/pop ups, use Stopzilla.
Where do you go to add a new product to the reviews?

I clicked on the catagory, then clicked "upload product" and was able to add the item, then I went back in and posted a review on the item.
I agree, great site! I didn't see any pop-ups either. :D

Should we be posting our review there? Also, a suggestion, I think it would be nice to have a template similar to this one - using the dark blue tone often.

motherboards, motherboards, motherboards, pop-ups.
Where are they?

LOL I didn't see any pop-ups
And I'd like to see motherboard reviews, they're the main thing I don't know a lot about
Also, it needs more people to post reviews, and I think to do that it needs more publicity within PCMech

Don't forget PSU's. There may be a LOT of new readers who don't know the importance of a good quality PSU. Just a suggestion. Looks good though and I didn't get a pop under either.

The site looks cool. But the popup is annoying.
I don't see popups, but maybe that's cuz Netscape blocks them. but, they still show a sign that shows that popups were blocked. There were none.

I tried to use my same name/PW and it said invalid login, so I thought maybe they wanted a NEW REGISTRATION. bUT WHEN i TRIED TO REISTER, IT SAID THAT THE NAME/email was already used.
Just a glich?
Site looks good though. good idea

Dude, I don't think you need a seperate site for reviews. It works so much better in a forum format: it is easier for posters.
I didnt even notice that review section, but when I click on the link it shows no one has posted since 2004, so I guess its not in use anymore?

Don't feel bad - I can't log in either. I'll notify Dris.

How did this turn out? It's about a year later, is the idea dead?

That link is now a remnant of the old site layout. All hardware and software reviews go in the forums we are on now, either "Hardware User Reviews" or "Software User Reviews."
