I need to choose a video card and Im interested in the ATI Radeon 9200 128MB or the Powercolor Radeon 7500 128MB, I'm on a tight budget and if I can save $50 on the card it would help alot. Which would be a right decison to choose? also I will be playing Unreal Tournament 2003 on this!

Get the 9200.
If you can save up some more go for the 9500/9600pro, whichever is cheaper at the time.

There is.
But if he's going to be saving up more cash the extra time for the pro would be worth it.

geez, do you recommend another video card like the GeForce FX 5200?

The 5200 does play UT 2003 well.
It's aimed at the value sector of NVidia's market, the sector that made Geforce2 MX such a hit.
I note that it's competition is the Radeon 9000 cards, 00,01,02. These are all DX8.1 cards.
You've really got to wonder what sort of DX9 card it is if it's competition are all last years cards that came in second to the Ti 4200.
In fact if you're considering the 9200 why not consider the Ti4200?

Wouldn't he need the Ti4800 to have the DX9?

The Radeon 9200 128MB is compatible with DirectX 9.0, I checked already. I'd rather go for ATI than Nvidia and I don't believe I can get the 9500 or 9600 becuase of its price tag even if I might save up for the 9500 I might as well save a couple more an get the 9700 pro.

The 9200 is compatible with DX9 as are all current video cards, the api is backwards compatible, but it is not a DX9 card.
The Ti4800 is a Geforce 4 with 8X AGP just as the 9200 is at 8X AGP, but both are DX8.1 cards.

For a budget soloution the FX5200 with128Mb DDr is good. Not a top gamers card, but DX9 ready and not too bad a performer. I would say on a par with the GF4 440MX with a few more bells n whistles, and did I mention already DX9 ready.

The box on the 9200 says its compatible with DirectX 9.0 and if so every card is then why did ATI put that on the box?
The GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR and GF4 440MX supports Direct X 9.0?

Please scroll down to features and read under smartshaders:http://mirror.ati.com/products/pc/radeon9200/specs.html
The card supports 8.1.
As to why the put "compatible with DirectX 9.0" on the box, you'd have to ask ATI's marketing department.
The FX 5200 is a DX 9 card the GF4 440MX is another 8.1 card.
