Using VIVO

I'm buying a new Gigabyte 9200 w/ VIVO. It sounds good, just that there's no sound input. I'm pretty sure I can use a RCA to 3.5mm cable and plug it into my sound card. Is there an option in Adobe Premiere that lets me import sound&video at the same time from two different sources like this?

If I understand your question correctly, Big Weapons, you should have no problems. All my "capture" cards have been regular game cards with VIVO, and have always used my sound card(s) to capture the audio portion of the video.

The 9200 isn't the greatest card out, but it's better than the GF2 you have because it's a couple generations newer. Text is always hard to read on a TV compared to a monitor, replacing your card is not going to improve the display on a TV.

ok. other higher end cards with VIVO? or any brand is good? My bro has a gf4 ti4200 VO but the output is different. I need some special cable then connect the normal jacks like the ones for ps2. My gf2 vo has normal vo output. Are the quality the same?

Premiere probably won't recognize the input from either an ATI or nVidia card, because the capture chipsets are proprietary.

You'll have to use the capture software that comes with the card, but that's not a very big deal since they can both capture to MPEG-2 directly which Premiere will take just fine for editing purposes later.
