Problem W/DVDRW Disks

Hi guys, got a quick question. I put a brand new DVD+RW drive in my new system when I built it (the system in my sig) and used the disks that came with it with no problems at all. It seemed to be working like a million bucks. I ran out of disks and got some Memorex DVDRW disks from BestBuy, and I can't get them to work. I have tried every one in the pack and the same thing happens. The comp doesn't think there is a disk in the drive. Programs will tell you that there is no media in the drive and if you double click on the drive in My Computer, it says the device is not ready. Put the disks that came with the drive back in and it works like a charm. Whats the deal? Any imput is appretiated. Thanks!:cool:

Not all media will work in all burners. In this case, your DVD burner probably doesn't like Memorex media. Try another brand.

I was afraid of that. Thanks for the imput. Maybe I'll see if BestBuy will take them back.

also there is dvd- and dvd + be sure you git the right ones
