To use RAID, do I need to get a special HD? I want to use IDE HD. I have 2 SATA cables, and I do not see a socket that it fits on normal IDE.

No.. there's nothing special about the hard drive itself. Going by your post... I assume you have serial ATA RAID on your motherboard. If you want to use that RAID, you will either need serial ATA drives, or a IDE to Serial ATA adapter.

I have serial ATA drive-this is a driver right?I will check some more. Yup-its serial ATA-support RAID 0, 1
