I don't know why but since I download and installed SP1a for my WinXPpro...the game doesn't install properly although it said 'finished'.I check on the files folder and my god it's only 49mb files installed......
Recently I've installed new display drivers from nvidia but could it possible be the cause?
I've check the disc and found no scrath or whatsoever.
I've also use another CD drive for the installation that I thought the drive was faulty. In the end it only copied 49mb of files..!
Did I miss something to be configured in the system setting or
anything?Can anyone help me??Plz??

I've tried nbaLive2003 and other need for speed title..yet comes up some message saying some files cannot be copied or cannot read from the drives....
What the hell happened here?

sorry i don't have a solution to your problem, but I also am haveing a problem with nfs. I just picked up a copy of high stakes, I got to install it, but I am being told that my video card is not supported. Well you would think the 9700 pro would be supported. I know several people with the 9000 pro and they have no problem.
I am wondering if EA is not having problems other than this. this is the second NFS ( i have tried both hot puersuite and high stakes now) i am installing on two diffrent systesm and neither one has worked at all.
If any one has any ideas for my problem I would appreciate it, Like I said it tells me that the 3d card is not supported and then when i go to play the game wiht 3d rendering as opposed to software rendering it continuisly pops the cd out of the drive.

I saw it from their readme about the 9700pro support issues...
They just say it will be corrected by future released drivers from ATI......
But I'm not sure, maybe you should download patches from EA.

The only patch from EA is a networking patch, But thanks for the heads up, I will keep my eye out for drivers from ATI.
Were did you find the readme about the 9700 support issues. i would be intrested in reading it.
Also major side note is there a way for me to copy the waving flag that you have next to your screen name to my desk top for a project I am working on?
