Wireless Mouse

Hi All
Have you ever tried to buy wireless mouse without receiver. I have checked the wireless mouse which went sour. I have cheked the receiver by borrowing the mouse from other computer. Receiver is functioning properly. I think I need to change the mouse, but I don't want to pay for the receiver, which comes in package at stores. I am running WINDOW 2000.

I tried to buy a new reciver from Logitech and was told they sell them as a unit. Mouse and Reciver together and no other way.

You are right. That's the way. the big company's do their business. As an example, the warranty of Ink jet printer valid only if you use their proprietory expensive ink cartridges.. The warranty will void if we oueselves formulate an ink, which has superior attributes than manufacturer's. This is corporate business.
I agree with you.
There is no other way than to buy the set all together.
