someone told me is i want to buy amd i need very strong cooling sistem cause amd has problem with overheating.

No, dim4ik, you do NOT need special cooling. If you get the PIB (Retail) version of the CPU, it comes with a good heatsink fan combo that works well and quite, plus you'll get a 3 year warrantee thrown into the deal. If you buy OEM, then you have only 30 days. Or if you install a different HS/fan, then you void the 3 year warrantee.

It is a very bad and wrong rumor that people like to keep spreading...

could you clear something up for me? I have been told that if I want a hard drive with 60GB or more on then I will have to buy another fan. Do I? I am buying a retail AMD 2200+ so I'll already have a fan for that.

You dont NEED another fan, but it is good to have a fan blowing over any sort of hard drive just to keep it cool, but it isnt really needed

You see i live in Israel and i will probably buy a processor in Russia cause thear it's very cheap so wount have woranty any way! and i'm not shure if it will come with fan or not?

Hi clareBRFC. scott_d is correct: a HD fan is Not needed. HDs run cooler than most people think, at about 90 - 100°F -- SCSI drives are the ones that run hot and generaly fans are used with them, not IDE drives. Using my personal system for example, I have No front fans at all in my system, and it has a pair of 120 gig HDs and a 2700+ CPU with a stock / retail HS/fan combo.

its pretty much, if you think its too hot and another case fan will help, get another

As Spyda suggests, you can always install another. I would put it in the rear, however, not the front. Even AMD recommends No front fans as they tend to circulate the hot air more than cool the machine. With a second rear fan, you'll have more draw thru the case, and that's what does the cooling in the case.
