I had a strange little glitch happen today.
After opening Musicmatch, and loading a playlist, I noticed I couldn't move my cursor onto the task bar. I tried refreshing the desktop but no change. After I finished listening to the current song, I closed Musicmatch to see if there was some kind of conflict there. Still couldn't get to the taskbar.
Control/alt./delete showed me the regulars plus "em.exec"
so ended that 'task" and it fixed it.
Can anyone help me understand what just happened?
em.exec is a Logitech file....

(I refuse to think Dave Bruebeck's Take 5 has anything to do with this!!)
I did spend some time on my network earlier, mostly just moving files around tho'....

Em_Exec.exe as you rightly say is a logitech driver file which controls buttons such as the helpful double-click thumb button and mouse wheel etc on mine. I have had similar problems and closing emexec fixed it for me.

Not sure what the problem is though I'm afraid, these things happen

thanks jim,
yeah, I know all about "these things happen"....
I've a theory that computers learn what ticks us off and when we aren't paying attention they do it to us.....

Sounds like you've got it sussed, I'll forward that succint little statement onto Bill Gates, and I'm ready to bet that he doesn't put that on the side of any of his Windows boxes

Jim-
au contraire! If Billy Boy had any excuse at all to turn down the heat that he gets, he'ld use it, eh?!?

Well, perhaps I should think before I speak next time.

What can I say now then? I bet he wouldn't pay you royalties for it?
