I'm got stuck on one of the mages guild quests. I was ordered to arrange a meeting with some ashlander wise woman, and when i got to the camp, i was sent off to find an apprentice who was in an ancestral tomb. once i found her, she told me that she would only meet with my boss if i killed the ancestral ghost in the tomb. I tried a few times and got killed, then i saved and quit. when i got back on, i couldn't find the ancestal ghost anywhere, and i still can't up until now. Any advice?

Did you restart the quest ? Cause once the ghost is killed , Mhirpal will send Assardarainat with you.

Sadly, Morrowind is a buggy game and things have a way of disappering sometimes. It is possible to add them back into the game through the console, but you need to know exactly what to type. Try asking at the Official Forums (http://www.elderscrolls.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php), maybe somebody has run into the same problem and knows how to fix it.
