Didn't even know this was going to be released, just saw this blurb:

Wolfenstein (http://firingsquad.gamers.com/news/newsarticle.asp?searchid=5157)

Ready to download it- has any played it yet- or know anything about it?

Until a few months ago I played MP Wolfenstein quite a bit- but just got tired of the same old levels.

I read the article, but not sure if it does, or does not have any single player abilities?? Any clues??

Been playing it all morning. compared to the original RTCW MP: Graphics and sound are noticeably better. Games are more complex and multi-task. There are also other features such as gaining rank, building command posts that increase skills such as speed that I have not fully explored.

If you like this type of team based MP- then I highly recommend it.

Don't laugh... but I've never done online gaming! That's why I was interested in it's single player abilities... It is playable as a single player?

No, there aren't any bots, and there are only MP maps. I wish they had continued with the single player- wonder why they stopped its release.

Engineers can set land mines, on each level- with good performance- you advance in rank, and gain improved skills in vairous areas, (engineering, small arms, etc.),

still the annoying problem with panzers

more to come

on another note- for those of you that cannot download a file of this size, PM me and I will mail you a cd with the installation file- the least I can do for Pcmech members

I haven't played it myself but my brothers was on it all night last night. Looks pretty good for a free download!
