Video card for a laptop/notebook

I'm just a user not a techie so excuse my ignorance, but is it possible (for a non-techie) or even desireable to upgrade the video card in an old DELL Latitude CPI laptop/notebook computer (PII 128mb RAM)? If so what is compatible, and what does it cost ? Or should I just get a new computer if I want to play the newer graphic-heavy games ?

Welcome the PCMECH, where the only dumb question is the unasked one!!
Sorry but laptops are not real easy to work on, in fact everything is integrated into 1 main circut board, so U can not realistically do what U are looking at doing.. I've opened up my old 1 and it can be quite the experience just to crack it open, and get it back togother and have it still work...Laptops are basically a 1 shot deal. The only things that are mainly upgradable on most laptops are the harddrive and the RAM memory, which the manufacturers have designed so U can get at those items and replace them without tearing the whole thing apart, in most cases...

The video in a laptop is a chip soldered onto the motherboard, so it's not upgradeable.
