Nice... The All In Wonder 9800 Pro is here!

I was expecting more gains from it. $100 more and a lot more heat dumped inside the computer for... what? Looks like the 9800 128 MB or the 5900 are both better choices.

Unless someone wants to get 15 FPS instead of 12 FPS when they play their games at 1600X1200 and 6X FSAA 12XAF... :)

People who are willing to spend that much on a card are crazy enough to think that 15 fps is much better than 12 fps. I am not that rich so I definetly wouldn't want to spend an extra 100 bucks on one, but hey, some folks do.

Hey, people had a similar reaction with 128mb cards. Sure there isn't much performance gain now, but games will eventually use 256 mb, and then this card will kick ass. I heard that half-life 2 will run significantly better on this card. But yeah, right now there's no point in buying this card.

Doom 3 is supposed to use up to 80MB for textures, which is the highest amount I know of. Once games actually use 256MB, much better and much more advanced cards will be released. In my opinion, there is no need to waste the money, but I also come from a point of view with limited cashflow.

The 9700 Pro works well and I definetly prefer the 9700 pro than the 9800 pro.
