I am kind of curious if Bush becomes president what if anything will happen to the MS monopoly case.
I would imagine that the Bush justice dept would not be big fans of this case.
I know that it is already in the courts but could they not support an appeal and give the case to MS?
Do the original attorneys for the Justice dept keep supporting the case or is it turned over to the new team?
It may be interesting. Gore supports the current decision so he wouldn't do anything to change it.

I just read something on that - Bush would have a hard time stopping what's already in motion.

I am a strong proponent of the effort Microsoft has launched...coined "Freedom to innovate" by M$oft. I believe strongly that GOVERNMENT has no business meddling in areas they have not showed any expertise in. Now...waste, corruption, lies, deceipt; now these are areas they are good at! I suggest they stick with what they know and let business do what it does best! Business thrives DESPITE government, but government would have you believe they are responsible for a good economy! Does anyone but me see the irony of this?
