When I run my dxdiag tests [DirectX 8.1], I see that the AGP Texture Acceleration is noted as "NOT AVAILABLE." Is it essential to switch this on for improved video performance? If so, how should I do it? I also do some 3D gaming. The specs of the PC are: Athlon XP 2400+, Epox 8K9A KT400 Mainboard, 384MB Samsung DDR 266, Radeon 9100 64MB, Windows XP with SP1 and Windows 98SE Dual-Boot...
Hope to have your comments, PC Mech buddies...

In my experience it's a good idea to leave this switched off anyway, can detract from performace and lead to slowdowns.

Ah, okay... thanks fatboyjim. I won't bother with this feature again. I've contacted ATI but somehow the comments they gave weren't the exact description of what I'm talking in here. Thanks again for taking time to comment on this. I almost forgot about this thread.

Yeah no worries, every couple of weeks I check for threads which are going to die away!
