I dont know much about pc hardware...but i am having major problems with my A7S333 motherboard. I have AMD Athlon(TM) XP 2100+, 512DDR ram, Geforce4 MX420....and i havent a clue what the problems is. First, my pc wont stay on for long....it will stay on for like and hour then it will just shut off on me and i cant get it back on unless i leave it off for a couple hours. Second, i cant play any games if i go to play a game i get a blue screen either say a problem with win32k.sys or cmaudio.sys. I dont kno what the problem is im pretty sure its not my video card cause i tested on other motherboards and it works fine. Im thinking there is something wrong with my ram...but i did a memtest86 and there was no problem with it. I never tested my cpu because i dont know how...can someone please help!!! Thanks :(

What power supply are you using? Check the nvidia.com website for updates on your video card. Remove all your cards except the video card and see if the problem continues.

SiS chipsets can be a bit flaky but that's a good quality motherboard so I don't think the board is the problem.

You should check your CPU temps. since you are having gaming problems- which are obviously high-cpu usage, and also since you can turn it back on after a couple hours (possibly after it has cooled down), maybe your cpu is overheating. The system shutting down could be caused by the BIOS's thermal protection.

I seem to be leaning more to what Drew is mentioning and you might have a cooling issue. Could you tell us what your temps are? Asus probe sucks but it will at least give you an idea of where you are at. Or you could load mother board monitor if you want an alternative.

AIDA32 is also good, and easy to config (if it even needs to be configured at all)

What is your current setup as far as cooling is concerned? Are you running a stock heatsink or any case fans. Also where is the box located.

u should take a vacuum w/ a hose and carefully get all the dust out of the inside of your computer (especially on all the vents and fans)..and also you could take off the cpu fan and clean it real good, then put on some new thermal grease and re-mount it on the cpu. then you'll probably be all good :)
