I'm looking for video conferencing software that is full duplex, so I don't have to keep clicking a talk button. PalTalk is the only thing I can find so far, and it isn't all that great. I keep getting ads to upgrade, and I have to click a little microphone to talk. Anyone know of a free program?

Just in case anyone cares, Eyeball Chat is what I went with. It is free, full duplex, and has some kind of firewall thing that lets you connect even if a user has a firewall. It's a sweet little program. It runs on Windows other than XP unlike Windows Messenger.

have you tried CUSeeMe? I used to monitor video chat rooms, and that's what we used.

I read about CUSeeMe, but didn't try it. Were the video chat rooms software based or browser based? I would like this to all be from a website and not need software, but I haven't yet figured out how to do it.

Have you tried Yahoo Messenger. It includes video if you have a web cam. They have a hands free option so that you don't have to hold down the talk button. I am thinking of getting some friends to set it up on their computers so that we can save on long distance phone blls.

CUSeeMe is software based.
