In a pinch I used 2 x 50 ft. of UTP Cat 5 (24 Gauge) cable to transmit RGB and the H & V sync., without baluns or booster/buffers...
UTP Cable one = (label RGB) strip all wires leave about an inch of each pair exposed and about 1/8" of copper bare on the end;
UTP = VGA
Orange = Pin 1
Green = Pin 2
Blue = Pin 3
Orange/White = Pin 6
Brown/White = Pin 5 (Ground)
Green/White = Pin 7
Blue/White = Pin 8
*Brown = Pin 10 Then Jumper to Ground To Metal Case Of DB 15 (IE. Shield) THIS SIDE ONLY! On the other side Pin 10 is to wire only.
*(The secret lies in making sure that only 1 end of the cable is grounded, thus causing a differential pair signal to be generated).

UTP = VGA
Orange = Pin 13
Blue = Pin 14
All The Rest Ground to shield on both ends.
*(If you want to get fancy then undo 4 - 6 wires from above and do the DDI2/Bit ID hookups.)
I tried making a reflection by coiling and kincking the cable... no go... even tried 60 HZ hum by coiling it up all over the power cords and waving it by the amp transformers
still was a real purdy picture with no visible overlap, reflections, bars or blooming. Youzers this saves huge $$$.
