RedHat 9 and InCD

Is it possible to use and rewrite files on a cdrw drive under RedHat 9 like what we can do in InCD under Windows?

It's possible but UDF packet writing calls for a patch (http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-udf) and a kernel compiling session (http://hints.linuxfromscratch.org/hints/cdrw-hint.txt).
