Network card installation

I have installed a new network card on the server with 5 workstations. Now when we connect 2 computers work well, but when we attach the rest they slow down. I have checked the protocols and the bindings - any suggestions...

- Which machines are slowing down?
- What are you plugging into? (switch or hub)
- What speed are you trying to run at?
- What kind of network card did you install?
- What operating systems? (server and clients)
- What protocols are you running on the server and clients?
